Well, grab a metaphorical magnifying glass, because we’re about to embark on an illuminating journey into the fascinating world of wine genetics with the next installment of our Discovery Series.
ROCO Winery’s Assistant Winemaker, Jarod Sleet, will take you on an exploration of Pinot Noir clones 667 and 777. Whether you’re a seasoned wine aficionado or just starting to dip your toes into the world of Pinot, this experience is designed to quench your curiosity and expand your wine knowledge.
Jarod will shed light on what a clone is, how it impacts the final wine, and why these Pinot Noir selections are so intriguing.
Discovery Series: Wits’ End Vineyard

Oregon Chardonnay is being celebrated, and for a good reason. In this installment of our Discovery Series, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the evolution of our Wits’ End Vineyard Chardonnay.
Whether you’re a fan of Chardonnay or just discovering its subtleties, this experience will leave you with a deeper knowledge and appreciation for this versatile grape.

Discovery Series: The Art of Dosage
Friday. June 14th at 2pm
at ROCO Winery
In Méthode Champenoise or Traditional Method winemaking, dosage refers to the addition of a small amount of sugar and wine. This is done to adjust the sweetness and flavor of the final sparkling wine and ensure that it is perfectly balanced.
In this installment of the Discovery Series, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about dosage from our Assistant Winemaker, Jarod Sleet. Jarod will guide you through the entire process of crafting RMS sparkling wines, explaining what he and Rollin look for when deciding how much or how little to add. You’ll even get to participate in a series of tasting trials yourself to gain a deeper understanding of the process!
Please note that space will be limited, ensuring an intimate and engaging setting for each participant.
Sparkling Wine Dinner

Step off the beaten path and into a world where the stars twinkle like the bubbles in your glass, and the lush landscape of the Willamette Valley unfolds around you.
Welcome summer with us at our annual Sparkling Wine Dinner on June 15th.
You’ll be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine before embarking on a seated 4-course food and wine experience presented by Chef Mason Goucher of Fumée. Each course will be perfectly paired with a sparkling wine.

The talented Chef Mason Goucher will prepare handmade ravioli for you to enjoy alongside a three-wine flight featuring two Italian wines and a ROCO gem.

This March, we’re taking you on a Sip Trip to Lombardy for the next Italian installment of our Discovery Series!
Join Assistant General Manager, Lucia Lemma-Walker, as she guides you through the enchanting landscapes of Lombardy. Discover its rich history, distinctive climate, diverse grape varietals, and unique terroirs.
During this immersive 90-minute experience, you’ll indulge in the exquisite still and sparkling wines from the prestigious Ca’ del Bosco and Ca’Maiol wineries. You’ll also enjoy regional Lombardian food pairings to accompany these special wines.
